Newgrange Standing Stones

Newgrange sits on the top of an elongated ridge within a large bend in the Boyne River about five miles west of the town of Drogheda.

Until we write an article on the astronomical aspects of these stones, concise information can be found on Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Newgrange

There is also a transcript of an interesting lecture by Anthony Murphy about Newgrange on the Mythical Ireland website. See http://www.mythicalireland.com/astronomy/ancientastronomers.html
