Jones, Kenneth Glyn (1915-1995), amateur astronomer and deep sky observer, originated from New Tredegar (Jones 2014, 80).

Lewis of Caerleon (mid 15th century – end 15th / early 16th century), astronomer, mathematician, physician, theologian, probably from
Caerleon (Jones 2014, 68).

Lowe, Edward Joseph (1825-1900), amateur astronomer, lived near Chepstow in later life, moving from Nottingham ((Jones 2014, 74); see Nottinghamshire).

Owen, Edwin Vaughan (1870-1950), amateur observer, younger brother of O. J. Owen, Abergavenny.

Owen, Owen John , OBE (1867-1960), amateur observer, Abergavenny (Jones 2014, 78).

Jenkins, Taliesyn Kenwin (b. 1879), amateur observers, author of popular articles, Nantyglo/Blaina (Jones 2014, 78).
